3D views of ASN.1 encodings and schemas, drawn from what the asn1c compiler actually does. The UPER and APER encodings of one value stand side by side as strips with one block per bit, each a field you can pick to see its path, kind and bits; a whole specification becomes a city, one district per module and one building per type, with references and recursion drawn as lines. Built on the Strata engine.
How to play
Five datasets sit behind the buttons at the top: an X.509 certificate's bits, the canonical-encoding check, every PER element (a demo message), the PKIX schema city and a recursion city. Drag to orbit, right-drag or two fingers to pan, the wheel or the + and - buttons to zoom, and click or tap a block or building to pick it. Parent, the arrows, Focus, Links and Home step through the selection (keys U, N/P, F, L, H). Needs WebGL 2.
