env-lib-cpp

The C++ counterpart to py-env-lib: base classes for two-dimensional virtual worlds, used by the C++ simulations such as Microbiome. An opt-in frontend draws any environment in 3D on the Strata engine, and its two demo worlds run in the browser: ten walkers stepping at random on an 8x8 grid, and a 20x20 meadow where sheep graze, wolves stalk them and the grass grows back.

How to play

Walkers and Meadow at the top switch worlds. Drag to pan, the wheel, a two-finger pinch or the + and - buttons to zoom, and the turn buttons (Q and E) rotate the view; Home frames the grid again. Click or tap a square to list who is there. Pause (Space) stops the simulation, Step (N) moves it one tick while paused, the arrows (, and .) make it slower or faster, and HUD (Tab) hides the text on the view. Needs WebGL 2.
